The third round of TAURON SEC is getting closer and closer. This time, the rivalry for the title of the best speedway rider of the Old Continent will take place in Bydgoszcz, where riders will compete as early as September 9. The upcoming tournament will be full of some interesting numerical aspects.

This is the third time that the round of Individual European Championship will be held in the city on the Brda River. Two previous rounds held at Polonia's track were won by Leon Madsen. Will the Dane prove his skills and knowledge of the local oval by triumphing for the third time in a row? If that happens, it will be an eleventh victory in a single round of the TAURON SEC series for the two-time gold medalist of the series.

The number three will also 'haunt' Mikkel Michelsen. In case of a good result achieved in Bydgoszcz, the Dane will significantly move closer to winning the third championship title in his career. Then, Michelsen would become the first ever three-time Individual European Champion. Moreover, if he wins at least two races during the upcoming round, he will surpass the barrier of 60 heat wins in TAURON SEC. If he reaches another top 3 finish, the Dane will extend his streak of podium places to four in a row.

In the second round of TAURON SEC 2023, which was held in Güstrow, Andzejs Lebedevs presented himself from a very good side. The Latvian, who in Bydgoszcz will face a chance to surpass the barrier of 200 points scored in the TAURON SEC, stood on the podium after a six-year break. The condition to become the eighth rider in history to collect more than 200 points in the Individual European Championship is to score 10 or more points during the round in Bydgoszcz.

The main partner of the SEC series is Lotto.
