Second win in a row of Tai Woffinden in individual World Championships series. The fifth round took place in Malilla, Sweden. Secend was Greg Hancock. On the lowest step of the podium was Chris Holder. Fourth in the final was Jaroslaw Hampel.
The tournament wasn’t successful for younger of Australians, Darcy Ward, who scored only 6 points and didn’t manage to qualify to the semis. Even worst was Krzysztof Kasprzak who still suffers from his knee injury. Pole didn’t score any point in five starts. There was quite dangerous situation in the second semi when Nicki Pedersen fouled Matej Zagar. There was scuffle between the riders and vituperation and vulgar words could be heard in the park machine.
