 Fogo Unia Leszno beat Unibax Torun 48:41 and is still in a game for play – off. Defeat complicated the situation of Unibax Torun but they, despite of the loss of two points, advanced at the sixth place in the table. Leaders had certain victories: Grupa Azoty Unia Tarnow won in Wroclaw and SPAR Falubaz Zielona Gora had a great win over Wybrzeze Gdansk.

 In Sunday meeting of the VIII round of Enea Ektraliga home team, Unia Leszno won with Unibax Torun 48:41. The first phase of the match was really jammed. The biggest problem of Unibax is the disposition of Tomasz Gollob who scored only 5 points and won one heat. Memories from the match won’t be nice also for Adrian Miedzinski. The rider of Unibax scored one point in three starts.

Quite cloudy and cold was during the match between Wlokniarz Czestochowa and Stal Gorzow. Although riders of Wlokniarz were really ambitious, the visitors were better. Why does it mean for riders of KantorOnline Wlokniarz Czestochowa? Practically they don’t have chances for play – off because it was their third defeat on the home track this season! Thanks to this win Gorzow is safely third in the league table and they are very close to play – off phase.

On Sunday afternoon team from Tarnow showed up at Olympic Stadium and won with Piotr Baron’s team 49:41. Thanks to great win in the first match Tarnow got also bonus point. Riders from Tarnow didn’t let to lose the win in the final straight. The most effective riders of the visitors did their job well and finished the heat with double win. Tai Woffinden tried to fight but he wasn’t able to take any points from very fast Tarnow pair. As a result Marek Cieslak team got five points in two matches and is on the lead in the league table.

As it was expected riders of SPAR Falubaz Zielona Gora didn’t have any problems and won on their home track with Renault Zdunek Wybrzeze Gdansk 65:25. The most effective rider of the match was Jaroslaw Hampel who scored 11 points and a bonus. Patryk Dudek and Aleksandr Loktajew also didn’t lose any point.

Thomsen and Lahti won the qualifying rounds for the SEC Challenge

We have met the first eight riders who advanced to the 2024 SEC Challenge. The final round of qualification for the Individual European Championship will take place on May 12 in Daugavpils.

TAURON SEC quallies starting lists

Qualifying rounds of the TAURON SEC 2024 will take places in Debrecen, Mureck, Stralsund, and Krsko.  From each  round, the top four riders will advance. An exception is the round in Stralsund, where if any of the Latvian riders will promote, the top three will advance to the SEC Challenge final in Daugavpils.

Another week full of racing for the permanent participants of TAURON SEC 2024. The third round of the PGE Ekstraliga took place on Polish tracks, and on Saturday, the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series was inaugurated with a round in Croatia.

Lyager Wins Danish Qualification for TAURON SEC

On Tuesday evening, the final round of the Danish qualifiers for the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2024 and the FIM Speedway Grand Prix 2025 took place at the Vojens Speedway Center. The top five contenders secured passes to participate in the upcoming tournaments.
