It’s already tomorrow when there is the inauguration of Speedway European Championships. On Saturday the official training before the Sunday tournament took place in Gustrow. The riders praised the preparation of the track and the interest of fans. The only thing on which they could complain was the heat which was present in Gustrow for a few last days.
Martin Vaculik, Individual European Champion was first on the track. Just after him Maskim Bogdanows appeared. Vaculik was satisfied with his bike and was also happy because of the interest in speedway in Germany.
– It’s unbelievable how many people came on the stadium and it was only the training. I’m really happy that I will start here in front of full stadium.
Andrzejs Lebedevs is calm about his start: I race here quite regularly and I have no reservations to the preparation of the track. I’m calm because I know the lines here and I think that I’m able to fight for a good result.
Adrian Midzieński, who doesn’t want to put any pressure on himself and is also calm in case of tomorrow’s start, will have a debut in Speedway European Championships. If there is interest in such place as Gustrow we can only be happy. The number of fans during the training shows that people want to support us. I’m not going to hide that I’m really happy because of that. As far as my start is concerned I’m not going to put any pressure on myself. I’m not thinking about any place, I just want to enjoy every heat.
