After the premiere win in Gustrow, Janusz Kołodziej grabbed the win in the third round of TAURON SEC, which was held in Łódź. The Pole is still on the lead of the interim classification, but his advantage on Leon Madsen reduced to only one point.
It wasn't the best start of the meeting for Kołodziej. After two series, the Pole had only two points, while Madsen had six, which meant that both got the same amount of points in the table - 31. Changes were visible already in the third series, when Kołodziej went for his first win. At the end, Four time Polish Champion advanced to the 'last chance' heat.
In this one, Kołodziej competed about the final with Patryk Dudek, Kacper Woryna and Andzejs Lebedevs, who had a really successful evening. Dudek crossed the line on the lead, but Kołodziej also saved his spot in the final.
In the most important heat of the day, Kubera was on the lead just after the start, but Kołodziej and Madsen were right behind his back. It looked like the youngest of them is going for the win, but Janusz Kołodziej's speed let him overtook Kubera and grabbed another TAURON SEC win.
- I felt great. This meeting was difficult for me just from the beginning. Gates in my two first heats weren't best, but I was searching and finally found the optimal set-up. Another heats were much better. In the final I went full throttle and it was the best solution for this situation.
Before the Grand Final in Pardubice, Kołodziej is on the lead in the interim classification with one point ahead of Leon Madsen. Taking to the consideration their results and current form, we are sure, that the upcoming meeting will be remembered for the ages.
