After three rounds, Patryk Dudek is on the third place in the interim classification of the series. The representative of Poland got six-point loss to Janusz Kołodziej, but he's still in the battle about the top spots. If Kołodziej and Madsen will be scoring as well as in previous rounds, then Dudek will have to focus about defending his current position.
After two rounds, Dudek was on the second place with only two-point loss to Janusz Kołodziej and has one more point than defending champion, Mikkel Michelsen. The situation changed after the competition in Łódź, in which Dudek scored nine points. It looks like in Pardubice we'll witness the direct battle about the bronze between Dudek and Michelsen. On now, the Pole is four points ahead of the Dane.
Michelsen is healing the injury, which he suffered before the PGE Ekstraliga match Toruń vs Lublin. Two-time European Champion took part in the third round of TAURON SEC, but he raced with enormous pain, which made him to score 'only' six points. It's nearly impossible for him to defend the title, but on the other side, he still has a chance to grab one of the medals.
Dudek can win back to back bronze medal. We can say, he knows the local track in Pardubice well. The Pole participated in the Zlata Prilba tournament for a few times, and even won in 2021. Taking to the consideration both's current situation in the classification, we expect great battle about the third place, or even more.
For sure, the Dudek - Michelsen battle looks as interesting as fight for gold between Kołodziej and Madsen. Looking back at the previous TAURON SEC finals, we'll know the ultimate results at the very end of the whole series.
