Totally unecpected result we had in the last Speedway European Championships final in Rzeszow. Five points over everyone Danish SEC star Nicki Pedersen gave the lead to Slovakian International Martin Vaculik who won every of his races as a first rider in history. Cryin’ sky complicated preparations to the great final but rain didn’ stop anything. Works started early in the morning. Even two hours before the event there were doubts about safety. Massive human work gave the last competition to the crowd.
First round started exactly as in the favourites Schedule. Easy wins for Nicki Pedersen and Martin Vaculik. Passes were extremely hard in the early part of the meeting. Strong favourite Nicki lost his first point in the battle with Grzegorz Zengota. Vaculik completed sensational win over Grigorij Laguta. Four engine failures riders were struggling with in the first eight heats. Jurica Pavlic stopped twice. Poor performace for Sebastian Ulamek who came as a runner uo in Gorican SEC round.
Begining of Pedersen’s angryness we could See after the Three rounds when Vaculik still was on fire. Martin was better than leading Danish dynamite in the heat seventeen when Pedersen was excluded for Fredrik Lindgren’s fall comin’ into the first corner. Three times World Cahmpion lost last hope and gives everything to Slovakian speedway rider when he came third after Andriej Karpov touched the tape. SEC star from Zarnowica had to collect only one point to get the trophy but he took all that night. Every single win! That is how you’re becomin’ a champ. He was come and easy even after the crash he were involved during the first start in the final. Hans Andersen were in the worst conditions after that fall but he managed top finish the Speedway European Championships on the third place in the Rzeszow SEC final.
The last Speedway European Cahmpionship round after us. Every four tournament gave plenty of emotions to All of us. We had to wait with celebratin’ new European Champion till the final race of whole competition. Moreover the tragic moments with riders injuries in this season SEC can be treated as a success without any doubts. It was unique and definitely it will be more like that next year with bigger and stronger emotions.
