For the British rider, this is his second year in the TAURON SEC series as a regular participant. The current season is much more successful for him than the previous one, and it's proven by achieved results.
Last year's Individual European Championships were hardly unsuccessful for Adam Ellis. The British rider scored 18 points in four rounds, which ultimately gave him a distant 17th place in the overall classification. His stats weren't too impressive - eight fourth places, seven third and only one heat win.
At the halfway point of TAURON SEC 2023, Ellis already scored more points than in all four rounds of last year's competition. During the inaugural round in Częstochowa, he won in his first start, and delivered two more 'threes' in Güstrow.
Currently, the points scored give Ellis the 10th place in the interim classification, but the squeeze in the table let the Brit still count in the fight for places at the top. The next opportunity to score points will come on in Bydgoszcz, where the penultimate round of this year's Individual European Championship will be held on September 9.
