Woffinden best in Prague

 Tai Woffinden won In the fourth round of Individual World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic. Just after him was Greg Hancock and Matej Zagar was third. Just after the podium was Nicki Pedersen.

 In one of the heats Jaroslaw Hampel had quite dangerous crash. Pole was hit by the representative of hosts, Vaclav Milik and hit the track strongly. At the beginning doctors suspected that the hip of the rider can be broken. Fortunately Hampel came back to the park machine without any help but he wasn’t successful in the tournament later.

Darcy Ward had a maximum after regular phase and he and his fans can think even about the win. Unfortunately in the semi young “Aussie” didn’t manage to fulfill these expectations and he was third. He left Prague with 16 points more which means third place in general classification. World Champion and the winner from Prague, Tai Woffinden in on the lead.

TAURON SEC quallies starting lists

Qualifying rounds of the TAURON SEC 2024 will take places in Debrecen, Mureck, Stralsund, and Krsko.  From each  round, the top four riders will advance. An exception is the round in Stralsund, where if any of the Latvian riders will promote, the top three will advance to the SEC Challenge final in Daugavpils.

Another week full of racing for the permanent participants of TAURON SEC 2024. The third round of the PGE Ekstraliga took place on Polish tracks, and on Saturday, the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series was inaugurated with a round in Croatia.

Lyager Wins Danish Qualification for TAURON SEC

On Tuesday evening, the final round of the Danish qualifiers for the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2024 and the FIM Speedway Grand Prix 2025 took place at the Vojens Speedway Center. The top five contenders secured passes to participate in the upcoming tournaments.
