It seems that the two-time Individual European Champion has set himself a goal - to win the third gold SEC medal. He already proved his ambitions in Częstochowa, where after a very modest best opening, he was able to win the whole meeting. Will the competition in Güstrow help him strengthen his position at the top of the TAURON SEC interim classification?
With the highest number of tournaments won, Madsen is the undisputed record holder of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship. A potential triumph in Güstrow would be his eleventh in the series. The current champion also has an interesting streak of advancing to the finals - he took part in each of the last ten.
So far, Leon Madsen has appeared in six of the seven rounds held in Güstrow - he has been on the podium three times, finishing second each time. A year ago, he crossed the finish line of the final as the last one. Will the current European Champion break through and for the first time leave Güstrow as the winner? We will find out on August 5.
The main partner of the Speedway Euro Championship series is Lotto.
