It’s exactly in a month, on the 19th of September in Częstochowa the final round of Speedway European Championships takes place. Generally only four riders can fight for the gold medal of European Championship. They are: Emil Sajfutdinow, Peter Kildemand, Nicki Pedersen i Martin Vaculik.
After three tournaments Emil Sajfutdinow has three point advantage over Peter Kildemand and six points over Nicki Pedersen and current European champion, Martin Vaculik. The track in Częstochowa is said to be one of the best to race in the whole world and because of that we will be witnesses of great heats and fight on the whole track.
Apart from Martin Vaculik every rider from the first three was a host in Częstochowa in the past. Nicki Pedersen was the rider of Włókniarz Częstochowa for two seasons. It is also worth to mention that he has also made a record of the track in Częstochowa. Emil Sajfutdinow was riding in Częstochowa last year and in 2014 Peter Kildemand is the hero of local fans.
Janusz Kołodziej definitely would like to fight for the podium but it will be difficult to make up for the five point loss. However Pole has really great season and he is able to gain really good score like Martin Vaculik during last year final.
At the end of 2005 the stadium of Włokniarz had thorough reconstruction. Renovation lasted until June 2007. During that time wooden benches was replaced by plastic seats, lightning and LED array were installed. The lightning at the stadium in Częstochowa has the intensity of 1700 lux, the track is from 100 to 1400 lux. The stadium is multifunctional although every day is used by riders of local team, Włókniarz.
