After a few months of rehabilitation Grigorij Laguta is coming back to racing and he will start in the Great Final of SEC, on the 19th of September in Częstochowa. Russian promises to fight for a win but the rivals definitely won’t make this task easy.
This season hasn’t been successful for Laguta. At first he had the injury before the season then there were problems with starts in Polish club and next, when it seemed that everything was going well he had the injury of his leg again. As he admits, come back on a track was too quick but he didn’t make the same mistake again. He lost three rounds of European Championship in which he was replaced by Maksim Bogdanovs but in the last tournament he wants to present as good as he can in front of his audience.
Russian starts in Włókniarz Częstochowa so he knows the track really well. He has been starting here since 2011 but it seems that September SEC final will the last for him as a host. The rider doesn’t hide his feelings towards fans in Częstochowa so he hopes that the stadium will be full and fans will create unforgettable atmosphere once again. It will be great opportunity to support the best riders in Europe and also thank for great emotions.
Grisha was third last year so this season he is full – time participant of SEC. The injury caused that he will be able to fight in the last tournament but surely he counts on permanent wild card for next year series.
