Preview of the SEC 2021 round in Gdansk. We have a unique play-off run ahead of us

We have already two finals of this year's Individual European Speedway Championship behind us, so we are at the halfway point of the competition. The third round of the SEC series was planned this time in Gdańsk, at the stadium of the local speedway club Wybrzeże. This is, where the first tournament in the history of the series took place in its current form. The competition on Saturday will be back after almost eight years where it all started.

Smektala: Title is my goal

Bartosz Smektała had another successful race day in Güstrow. This time, the Pole finished fourth during the 2nd final of the Speedway Euro Championship 2021. Thanks to his high score, the Polish representative still has a real chance of staying in the series.

Madsen: I'm still fighting for the title

Leon Madsen took second place during Saturday's competition in Güstrow. The Dane admits that he is satisfied with the result he achieved, because the injury suffered in Bydgoszcz makes it very difficult for him to ride.

Huckenbeck: Top 5 is my goal

Kai Huckenbeck showed another successful performance in SEC 2021. In Güstrow, the German finished on eighth position, but the number of points he scored, put Huckenbeck in sixth place in the interim classification of the cycle.

Dudek: It could have been better

Patryk Dudek finished as the third at Saturday's competition in Güstrow. The Pole scored 12 points but - as he stresses - he hoped for more.

Bewley: My aim is the podium

Daniel Bewley finished sixth in the 2nd final of the Speedway Euro Championship 2021, which was held in Güstrow. The Briton is currently on fifth place in the interim classification of the series, which guarantees a spot in SEC 2022.

Pieszczek received a wild card in Gdańsk

Krystian Pieszczek will compete in the 3rd final of Speedway Euro Championship 2021, which will take place on 3rd July in Gdańsk.

Pawlicki wins in Gustrow. Two Poles on the podium

We have entered the halfway point of the tournament for the title of European Speedway Champion. Behind us is the second round of the SEC series, which took place in Güstrow, Germany. Piotr Pawlicki was the best in the competition, and Leon Madsen and Patryk Dudek completed the podium. It is worth mentioning that in the final race also a third Pole took part, namely Bartosz Smektała. "Piter" Pawlicki maintained the lead in the general classification.

Preview of SEC round 2021 in Güstrow

The 2nd final of this year's Individual European Speedway Championship will take place on Saturday, June 26th in Güstrow, Germany. The organizers of the Speedway Euro Championship series have already reached an agreement with the local speedway club, MC Güstrow, several times and this year's tournament will be the sixth in the 9-year history of this competition.

Madsen: I made smart moves

Leon Madsen won the opening round of the Speedway Euro Championship 2021 in Bydgoszcz. Despite a dangerous fall in the final race the Dane claimed his seventh win in the SEC series.

Pawlicki: I want to be the leader

Piotr Pawlicki successfully returned to the SEC series. In Bydgoszcz, the Polish representative took second place, but in the interim classification he’s the leader due to the highest number of points scored.

Bewley: Starting in the SEC is something special

Daniel Bewley made a fantastic debut in the SEC series. British rider took the third place during the opening round of SEC 2021 in Bydgoszcz and he almost grabbed a sensational victory already in the first tournament in his career.
