As a result of many debates FIM, FIM – Europe, BSI and One Sport have entered into an agreement concerning Individual European Championships in 2015. It says that all riders, no matter if they take part in Grand Prix series, can start in the Speedway European Championships qualifying rounds next year – there will be possibility to take part in both series.
Tuesday in Sweden was ruled by rain which appeared at speedway stadiums. The most interesting meeting took place in Hallstavik where the current champions, Piraterna Motala won with only one point advantage. Because of the difficult track the match was stopped for 1,5 hour. In other matches Vargarna, Dackarna and Indianerna won.
FOGO Unia Leszno made a big surprise in the postponed match and won in Zielona Góra wit SPAR Falubaz 46:44. As a result visitor are sure of being in the first four of Polish ENEA Esktraliga. Unibax Toruń still has a chance to be in the play – off but this is only mathematical chance.
Emil Sajfutdinow will definitely remember last weekend for a long time. At first Russian won in the third round of Speedway European Championships in Hoslted and the next day scored the maximum in Polish Enea Ekstraliga.
Two hits of the 12th round of ENEA Ekstraliga ended with wins of Unibax Toruń and Grupa Azoty Unia Tarnów. The team from Toruń won on their home track with SPAR Falubaz Zielona Góra 47:42 and Tarnów won in Gorzów with local team, Stal 48:42. Big step to play – off was made by Fogo Unia which was on the home track with Betard Sparta Wrocław 48:42. Practically the riders of Renault Zdunek Wybrzeże Gdańsk after loss in Częstochowa were relegated to the 1st league.
Emil Sayfutdinov won the third round of the Speedway European Championships in Holsted. On the podium were also Peter Kildemand and Martin Vaculik. Russian rider became the new leader of Speedway European Championships and before the last tournament in Czestochowa he has three points ahead of Peter Kildemand.
It’s already tomorrow on the 9th of August at 3 p. m. in Holsted, Denmark there is the third round of Speedway European Championships. Nicki Pedersen is definitely the favorite. Current leader of the series will ride on his home track and he wants to have proper advantage over the rivals before the last tournament in Częstochowa.
Support of fans at speedway stadium is really needed for riders who stay in front of tape. Although they are concentrated they hear sounds from stands and shout of thousand of fans provides them zest and helps to create unforgettable actions. The fifteen face of Speedway European Championships count on similar experience in Holsted.
Kjastas Puodżuks will start in Holsted and replace Martin Smolinski. German has to present in Marianske Lazne where is challenge of FIM Long Track World Championship. For Puodżuks it is a come back to the SEC series after not very successful last year experience.
Tuesday racing in Elitserien will definitely be remembered long by Paweł Przedpełski who had great influence in a win of his Smederna over Rospiggarna. Pole scored 13 points and was the best rider of his team. Apart from that Piraterna, Elit Vetlanda and Indianerna Kumla also won their matches.
Niels Kristian Iversen will start in Holsted with the wild card. Because 'PUK' is in a really great disposition, it can be expected that he will fight for a win in his homeland. If he manage to do that, he will repeat the feat of Krzysztof Kasprzak who won in Gorican last year also as a rider with a wild card.
There are only a few days left for the 3rd round of Speedway European Championships. On the August 9th , in Holsted/Denmark, home fans will have a great opportunity to cheer for their heroes: Nicki Pedersen, Niels Kristian Iversen and Peter Kildemand, who have just won the gold in FIM Speedway World Cup in Bydgoszcz. Organisers, promotors and sponsors of the SEC Holsted event have prepared special attractions for the fans, including ticket price change.
